EPC of Electrical System and Navigation Lights – El-Sharara Airstrip

Summary of the project

The project was successfully executed under the EPC principle (Engineering, Procurement & Construction), covering the construction of the electrical and navigation lighting system at El Sharara Airport, Libya.

The scope included detailed engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, and system start-up, ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.

A new electrical building was constructed with an 11 kV connection, 500 kVA transformer, LV distribution, and a Caterpillar C32 diesel generator.

The navigation lighting system was fully installed, including LED guidance signs, PAPI, apron floodlights, and runway and taxiway lighting.

The project was completed in accordance with technical specifications, schedule, and client requirements.
